Hmmm...will try new things...

Within the next month or two, I'd like to try to refine my techniques with oil...and possibly experiment with palate knifes. Most of my stuff to date is either digital, acrylic, sketch, or photography. I'd like to broaden my field and try to incorporate some new techniques.

I need a new sketch pad and pencil set:( I'll have to go get one at hobby lobby next week.

Strength, courage, sacrifice. I attempted to parrallel these qualities between these two figures. The symbolic parralleling of the dog tags versus the INRI sign. I also was experimenting a lot with texture and techniques when I painted this.

I've always found focusing on individual frames, curves, and unique proportions interesting. Feet have the association of support, travel, tickle-ish...etc.

I hope this will be a good start!

It's my first attempt to professionalize my art hobby! Although, I've got to admit, I'm more interested in making a habit out of my hobby for the sake of improving my skills. I love art and painting, and according to some friends I'm pretty good at it! (Depending on your tastes and who you talk to *winks*.) I don't want to lose touch with a passion, and I believe that in here I might find the solution.
